Youth Stable Mates — The Perfect Companion to Riding Lessons!

Our Youth Stable Mates program is the perfect auxiliary experience to your child’s riding lessons - or the perfect place to get started on their equestrian journey. While many programs focus only on time in the saddle, we go beyond riding to teach the essential groundwork, communication, and horse care skills  that are often overlooked.

Participants learn how to truly understand horses — reading their body language, developing empathy, and practicing mindfulness around them. We focus on safety, balance, and confidence from the ground up, helping kids become more aware, capable, and compassionate horse partners.

It’s the kind of learning that deepens your child’s riding experience and builds the foundation for a lifetime of meaningful horsemanship.

What You Need:

● Hard toed shoes ( rubber boots, hiking boots, paddock boots)

● Weather appropriate clothing

Offered for Ages 7 - 17yrs

Do your kids love animals and spending time outdoors? Farm Days is the perfect way to get them outside AND introduce them to horses! Designed for kids ages 7-13 years old, the program offers a weeklong experience at a working horse farm. Kids will learn the daily ins and outs of horse care and how to safely interact with these beautiful animals! 

Basic horse safety

• Complete daily responsibilities of horse care
• Horse health 

● Learn basics of horse handling

• Leading
• Grooming
• Tacking

● Learn how horses communicate

• Understand body language and cues

What You Need:

● Hard toed shoes ( rubber boots, hiking boots, paddock boots)

● Packed lunch, snack and drinks

● Bathing suit for slip and slide/bouncy house

● Sunscreen, bug spray, weather appropriate clothing, long pants are encouraged
