Mango Bay Equestrian is owned and operated by Kerry Bosman. Kerry has over three decades of equestrian experience, having competed through intermediate eventing and third level dressage, and has worked as an equestrian professional for more than 15 years. Kerry’s riding philosophy breaks from the traditional view that a horse’s role is one of servitude, and is instead rooted in compassion for the animal and a belief that horseback riding should prioritize soundness in the horse, and balance in the rider.
Kerry is passionate about nurturing the relationship between horse and rider, and uses its development as the cornerstone of her riding instruction. MBE students first learn to identify and address a horse’s needs. Once the necessary trust has been established with the animal, it can be ridden in a biomechanically correct way that promotes the horse’s health and longevity.
Always a student herself, Kerry is committed to furthering her own education and growth as a horseperson. She is dedicated to providing the highest value to her clients and their horses, regardless of their abilities. Passion to do best by our horses and the desire to learn are fundamentals of the horsemanship philosophy practiced at Mango Bay Equestrian.
